Listen up Colorado travelers. Parking at Denver International Airport has increased for the second time in less than two years. This increase includes parking in and out of garages as well. I am sure that’s just the news you wanted to hear.
Customers parking at DIA will see an hourly rate increase of $1 and a daily rate increase of $3 in the garages. That makes prices jump to $5 an hour and a daily rate as high as $28.
Parking at Pikes Peak and Mt. Elbert, as of now, are not slated to change. However, the close-in economy lots and the father-out 61st and Peña lot next to the A-line station is increasing as well. Argh- am I right?
It Gets Worse
It doesn’t stop there, though. Economy parking is also rising. Expect to see a $1 increase with rates at $5 per hour or $17 per day. The prepaid lot at 61st and Peña will now cost $3 per 12 hours or $6 every 24 hours, which is a dollar increase as well.
The daily rate for valet parking sees an even more significant increase of $2 per hour which totals $35 for the first three days and anything longer than that will increase an additional four bucks an hour!
