These numbers, from the Division of Aeronautics’ 2020 Statewide Aviation Economic Impact Study, show that our airport is generating over $33.5 billion big ones every year!
That’s fantastic news, Colorado! Not only is DEN bringing in the bacon, but it’s generating more business and increasing travel to Colorful Colorado!
DEN’S numbers don’t lie.
- In 2013 DEN generated over 183,878 jobs and nearly $26,279,909,001 in annual revenue.
- In 2018 DEN saw 259,084 jobs and up to $33,509,152,000 in revenue!
That’s a significant jump!

When the airport opened in 1995, it served nearly 21 million passengers. In 2019, DEN reached an alarming 70 million travelers! Day says that as DEN continues to grow, the airport is committed to bolstering Colorado’s future as an economic powerhouse.
